Valentine's Date Night Ideas

This weekend is Valentine's Day and it's time to celebrate with your special someone... but you need a few ideas. No problem - we have several! We've got dinners and cocktails to go, cozy outdoor dining, dessert and present suggestions, and a few ideas of things to do. Take a look!

A good dinner is practically required for a Valentine's Day date, and Corvallis has plenty of great restaurant options to choose from. You can check our restaurant listings here, and find a few restaurants with cozy outdoor seating here.

  • Eats & Treats has a Valentine's Dinner for Two to go that includes an appetizer, entrees, desserts, and an option to add drinks. Click here.
  • Order a heart-shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's, Woodstock's, American Dream, Papa's Pizza, or Pizza Hut.
  • Castor's Valentine's Day dinners are sold out, but you can still order yummy cocktails to go. Click here to order.
  • Magenta's got a delicious Valentine's Day menu available Feb. 12-14, either to-go, or you can reserve spots in their outdoor seating area. Learn more and see the menu.
  • You can order a special Valentine's Day dinner to go, with an option to add drinks, from FireWorks, for their 19th annual Spanish Valentine. Feb. 11 is the last day to order, though. Learn more.

Sweet treats are a Valentine's Day tradition. Fortunately, Corvallis has several great bakeries, including two donut shops and a chocolate shop. Find a list of them here.

  • Benny's Donuts is selling special Valentine's Day boxes of donuts. Learn more.
  • Burst's Chocolates has special Valentine's-themed gift baskets of their delicious chocolates. See and order them here.

A great date night needs a great date activity, so you'll want to plan something fun to do for you and your sweetheart. Of course, the coronavirus makes that a little tricky... but not impossible!

Want to get your special someone a present or some flowers? We have a lot of great little gift shops around Benton County. You can check our shopping listings, but be sure to visit Garland Nursery (great for gifts and flowers), Sibling Revelry (lots of excellent gift items here), or the Terra Viva Gallery (beautiful jewelry).

Corvallis also has several great florists, like Expressions in Bloom, Stargazer Premier Florist, My Belle Blossoms, Leading Floral, and Penguin Flowers.

  • 2 Towns Ciderhouse and the Brass Monkey have Valentine's Day gift bundles that include ciders, chocolates, and desserts. Click here.
  • Order a special "Oregon Romance" gift basket from Bella Vino Gifts - or one of their many other lovely gift baskets. See the Oregon Romance basket here, and order it here.
  • Shonnard's is taking flower orders for Valentine's Day, plus they have plenty of other gift options to check out, too. Learn about flower orders.
