Corvallis Museum
The Benton County Historical Society’s Corvallis Museum features four galleries of exhibitions comprising art, artifacts, textiles, specimens, and more from the Society’s collections, including the legendary Horner Collection, formerly at Oregon State University. Museum mascot Bruce the Moose greets you in the museum lobby.
The Corvallis Museum is currently open Wednesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for non-members on entry, and free to members, youths 18 and under, and Oregon State University and Linn-Benton Community College students with a valid ID.
The Corvallis Museum is wheelchair accessible and has bicycle racks available for cyclists. Please do not bring food or beverages. Fully trained service animals are permitted; no pets allowed.
The Corvallis Museum has two spaces available to rent:
- The Rex & Ethel Clemens Meeting Room comfortably fits 17-20 people and is perfect for board meetings and planning sessions. Tables and chairs are included, and an A/V package is available.
- The Collins Family Education & Event Space is larger, seating up to 150 people (depending on set-up). Tables and chairs are also included for this space, and a full A/V package with drop-down screen is available. The Bruce Starker & Betty Bond Starker Cameron Courtyard is available as an add on.
When you book an event at the museums, you are directly supporting the mission of BCHS. They love hosting events and offer discounts to non-profits and partner organizations.
