Film Screening: Pixar's Brave

Friends, families, and film lovers are welcome to join PRAx for an afternoon screening of Pixar’s Brave on February 8. The Academy Award-winning film follows Merida, an impulsive young lady and daughter to King Fergus and Queen Elinor, who is determined to carve her own path in life. This showing is in anticipation of Julie Fowlis' (who sang two of the original songs in the film) performance later in the week at PRAx.

As a special opportunity, families who reserve tickets to the Brave screening can RSVP for a Q&A with Julie Fowlis herself. Before her concert on February 12, families will have the opportunity to have a limited-space Q&A and sound check at 5 p.m. This will be a sneak peek into the preparation for a performance and an exciting opportunity for kids to ask questions about making music, a singer’s experience with filmmaking and Scottish folk music.
