Spend a day touring Leaping Lamb Farm in Alsea, Oregon!

Leaping Lamb Farm was originally homesteaded in 1862. This small family farm and farm stay is located in a beautiful, quiet creek valley of the Coast Range, in Oregon, 40 miles from the ocean and 25 miles from Corvallis.

Leaping Lamb Farm Stay offers a cute little cottage with two bedrooms and a larger, gorgeous farmhouse with four bedrooms. Surrounded by stunning scenery, this peaceful farm stay makes the perfect home base for your rural adventures. Guests are welcome to lend a hand around the farm, too. You can pitch in with farm chores, including brushing their miniature donkey, Chip. If you time your visit right, you can bottle feed baby lambs, too! There’s also hiking, stargazing, and a creek to play in, among other fun activities, and the farmhouse boasts a lovely porch where you can relax after a day exploring the Willamette Valley.

But that's not the only way to visit the farm - Scottie Jones of Leaping Lamb also offers day tours.

Leaping Lamb will do small group farm tours throughout the year, which makes for an amazing personal experience. You can see the animals, tour the lovely farm, hike in the woods, play in the barn, have a picnic, and more. The tours are available Sunday through Thursday and start promptly at 11 a.m., and you're welcome to stay until 3 p.m. The cost is a minimum of $60 for up to 4 guests, and $10 for each additional guest. Children 2 years old and under are free. The maximum tour size is 10 guests, and tours are available by appointment only. To learn more and book a tour, visit www.LeapingLambFarm/tours.

Leaping Lamb Farm Day Tours

Leaping Lamb Farm's main house and several outbuildings were built by the Spencer family between 1896 and 1930 as part of their original homestead. It's been a working farm since the fields were first cleared, growing fruit and more and raising chickens, cattle and sheep.
