During the weekends before and after Thanksgiving our local wineries will be throwing open their doors to host open houses. Many Heart of Willamette Wineries and Monroe Hills Wineries members, as well as independent wineries, in our area will be celebrating Thanksgiving and the end of the harvest season with special events. Expect live music, wine tasting, plenty of fun and excellent Oregon wine for everyone.

Join Airlie Winery on Nov. 18-19 and Nov. 24-26, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., to celebrate the holiday and enjoy wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres. Tasting flights are $15. Airlie Winery will also be hosting a Holiday Market featuring local vendors on Nov. 18.

Join Broadley Vineyards for a special Thanksgiving weekend Nov. 24-26, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Club members enjoy free entry and can bring one guest for free, with additional guests at just $20 each. Delight in wine flights and appetizers. With your $20 tasting fee you'll also receive a complimentary Riedel Pinot Noir glass. This will be the last chance for exclusive pre-release pricing on Broadley's 2022 Estate Pinot Noir, ending in November. There will also be a raffle: Bring two non-perishable items to support our local food bank and enter to win a Jeroboam 3L bottle of Broadley Pinot Noir.

Bluebird Hill Cellars will host open houses on Nov. 18-19, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Nov. 24-26, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy seated tastings outdoors on their covered and heated front porch and under their tasting room canopy. Reservations are required as there is limited seating available. Visitors can also enjoy a 10% discount on holiday 2-packs during these weekends.

Cardwell Hill Cellars is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Join Cardwell Hill Cellars Nov. 17-19 for a pinot and quince spread pairing. Owner Rob Siegel will be there to present his locally grown and produced quince spread and there will be special pricing on rosé and blush wines. Nov. 24-26 will offer recipes with Cardwell Hill wines, where owner Nancy Chapel will be present with recipes made with Cardwell Hill's wines, along with special pricing on rosé and blush wines.

Compton Family Wine will be open Nov. 18-19, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 22, 12 p.m.-5 p.m., and Nov. 24-26, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. On Nov. 18 and Nov. 24, Moku Chocolate will be on site from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. selling their award-winning, ethically sourced, and locally made chocolate.

Join Lumos Wine Company for Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 24-26. They'll be serving hot mulled wine and have special reserve wine flights available. They're open 12 p.m.-5 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Stomp by Croft Vineyards will be open all Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 24-26, for wine tastings, food, and special wine discounts. No reservations are needed, but parties of six or more should call ahead (503-364-3085). They'll be open 3 p.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, and 12 p.m.- 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
