Father's Day is this weekend! If you're looking for a way to celebrate the dads and father figures in your life, we have a few ideas.
Corvallis is known for wineries and craft beer, but don't forget - we've got distilleries, too!
Enjoy a tasting at 4 Spirits Distillery, located at 3405 SW Deschutes Street in Corvallis, and sample whiskeys, vodkas and more, plus enjoy a delicious meal. Or head out to Philomath and discover Marcotte Distillery, at 1732 Main Street, where you can try out flavored moonshine.
Get out on the green! Corvallis is home to three golf courses, all of which are open.
Enjoy Trysting Tree, just over the Willamtte River on HWY 20, and which serves as the home course of the Oregon State University golf team and features championship-worthy golf and practice facilities; Diamond Woods in Monroe, which offers a unique and exciting layout for a challenging golf experience to golfers of all levels; or Albany Golf in nearby Albany, which offers an 18 hole championship golf course that has hosted the Oregon Open.
Corvallis is surrounded by trails that are perfect for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, and we've got hikes and rides for all skill levels.
Need gear? Visit Peak Sports where you can buy new equipment, rent bikes, and more. Need some ideas to get started? TheRightTrail.org catalogues the trails in Linn and Benton Counties and offers maps, tips, and everything you need to know to get out of the trails.

The Corvallis Knights' season has begun and they've got home games all weekend. Pick a game night, get your tickets, and take yourselves out to a ball game.
Single-game tickets start at $8 each ($10 on fireworks nights), so enjoy good food, great beer from area brewers, and an awesome atmosphere. It'll be a night to remember for sure!
