Cinema Sundays: Encounters at the End of the World
PRAx and the Darkside Cinema Present: Cinema Sundays: Encounters at the End of the World (Werner Herzog, 2007).
Free Film Fridays is now Cinema Sundays! It’s a new day and a new time, but the same free film screening and post-show discussions with experts, presented by PRAx and the Darkside Cinema and curated by Distinguished Professor of Film Studies Jon Lewis. Join PRAx on Sundays at 3 p.m. to explore art, culture, history, and narrative through a thoughtful selection of historical and contemporary films. For the 2026-27 season, the films are organized into three discrete themes — one for each season — tied to performances at PRAx that term.
The theme for Fall 2026 is Polar Cinema. Experience this film as part of our fall theme Polar Science, Polar Art events throughout the month of October.
