Bard in the Quad: The Winter's Tale
Bard in the Quad returns for its 21st season with Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale.
When the powerful King Leontes of Sicilia entertains his dear friend King Polixenes of Bohemia at his royal court, an innocent misunderstanding leads him to believe he has been betrayed by those closest to him. The Winter’s Tale features drama, ghosts, music, comedy, intrigue, love, and even a bear. This thrilling tale spanning two continents and sixteen years is the Bard’s most epic play.
A box office facility located in the center of the MU Quad opens each performance evening at 6:30 pm. This is an outdoor performance and no seating is provided. Please bring blankets or lawn chairs and warm clothing. No late seating or late admission. Seating begins at 6:30 pm and picnics are highly encouraged. Ticket prices are $17 General, $15 Youth and Seniors, and Free to OSU students at door with valid student ID.
