Corvallis-OSU Piano International presents Clayton Stephenson

Corvallis-OSU Piano International will present acclaimed American pianist Clayton Stephenson. American pianist Clayton Stephenson’s love for music is immediately apparent in his joyous charisma onstage, expressive power, and natural ease at the instrument. A 2022 Gilmore Young Artist, Stephenson has been praised as “not just a remarkable virtuoso, but a poet, a dramatist and a master story-teller” (Gramophone). This Special Event will be presented as a concert with commentary, with Stephenson offering personal insights and spoken introductions throughout the program. His program includes Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Albéniz’s Iberia, Book I, and American classics: Keith Jarrett’s transcription of Over the Rainbow and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
