Celebrate the re-opening of the 167-year-old hardware store in downtown Corvallis and get to know Tarweed Folk School with live demonstrations in woodworking, fiber arts, and more!
Join Wade's Harware on Saturday, July 12, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. to celebrate the re-opening of Corvallis' oldest commercial building at 400 SW 2nd Street, formerly Robnett’s Hardware. Wade Hardware, renamed after one of the original owners and operated by the same family, will be open for business with a great new selection of tools, fasteners, locally milled wood, workwear, household supplies, and more. The store will be open to the public and the Open House will be in collaboration with Tarweed Folk School, who has a new home and classroom in the same space.
Tarweed will provide live demonstrations in woodworking and fiber arts. Free food donated by First Alternative Co-op will be available. There will be shirts and hats for sale.
There will also be information about Tarweed Folk School's summer classes:
