The Majestic is bringing theatre to the great outdoors!
Join the Majestic at Bruce Starker Arts Park to enjoy classic theatre in the park with a festive and music-filled outdoor production of William Shakespeare’s As You Like It. Journey to the Forest of Arden with one of Shakespeare’s most charming casts of sassy clowns, melancholy lords, lovers in disguise, twitterpated shepherds, banished dukes, and also a wrestler. This 90-minute, family-friendly production features a pre-show concert and live music throughout from local folk Americana band The Flatt Stanley Incident.
This show is presented in a relaxed performance environment intended for the whole family, and children 12 and under get in free. Children’s activities will be available starting at 5 p.m. and throughout the show, with food and wine vendors onsite. The pre-show concert begins at 6 p.m. and the performance itself runs from 6:30 p.m. 8 p.m.
