PRAx Presents: Wayne Goins

Outstanding live guitarist. Biographer of Charlie Christian, Jimmy Rogers and Taj Mahal. Magazine columnist. Prolific recording artist. Founder of Little Apple Records. University Distinguished Professor in Jazz Studies at Kansas State University.

Wayne Goins exemplifies virtuosity. He’ll be joined at PRAx by an all-star ensemble of Oregon musicians, including Ryan Biesack on percussion, Tyler Abbott on bass, Joe Manis on tenor sax and Torrey Newhart on piano. He will perform a happy hour set at 5:30 p.m. and a full set at 7 p.m.
