PRAx launches a new partnership with PDX Jazz!

Few artists can perform across genres with the virtuosity of John Scofield. From his early days with Miles Davis (1982-85) through decades of innovative projects, three-time Grammy winner Scofield has become a stylistic chameleon — expressing himself with equal facility in the vernaculars of bebop, blues, jazz-funk, acoustic chamber jazz, electronically tinged groove music, jam band and orchestral ensembles.

And at this unique event, you’ll hear Scofield talk about his incredible career with American Strings host Kelly Bosworth, followed by a full set by the John Scofield Quartet. Come hear from a legend — and hear the music that made him legendary.
