Oregon Symphony
When Grammy-nominated mandolinist Avi Avital brings the extraordinary sounds of his instrument to the undisputed classic The Four Seasons, you’ll feel like you’re hearing it for the first time — fresh and irresistible. Usually featuring a violin, the mandolin shines here as part of a full orchestral concert from Oregon Symphony. Part of your fun will be listening to Vivaldi’s spot-on sound effects: birds, a barking dog, gnats and flies, the chattering of teeth, and slipping on ice. The evening’s program will include other iconic pieces, including Mozart’s No. 35 “Haffner” Symphony.
Tickets are $45-$55 ($5 for students). Learn more and get tickets.
