Mr. Burns: A Post Electric Play
OSU's School of Visual, Performing and Design Arts presents Mr. Burns: A Post Electric Play by Anne Washburn, with an original Score by Michael Friedman and directed by Elizabeth Helman.
In a post-apocalyptic future, a group of survivors gather to distract themselves from the loss of civilization by retelling beloved pieces of popular media around a campfire. As the years wear on, theatre groups specialize in mythologizing an episode of The Simpsons to suit their own new social mores. This bizarre, funny, and surprising play explores the power of story to buoy community in times of loss and tragedy.
Please note that late seating is not available after the show begins.
