The Oregon State University Wind Symphony features pieces by such notable composers as Frank Ticheli, William Schuman, Samuel Barber, and David Del Tredici. This auditioned, 60-person ensemble stresses modern wind symphony configurations, and is the perfect size to maximize the acoustic volume of Detrick Concert Hall.
The Wind Symphony is directed by Dr. Erik Leung, Director of Bands at OSU and a conductor whose accomplishments are equally felt at the podium and through his writings about music history.
Tickets are free for students and $10 for general admission. Learn more and buy tickets.
