Rhapsody in the Vineyard: a Downtown Wine Walk

Spend a lovely fall evening strolling beautiful downtown Corvallis, where local businesses will play host to Oregon wineries and distillers. Representatives from each winery or distillery will be on hand to discuss their beverages, tell their stories, and answer your questions. Business owners will also offer tempting appetizers, along with music and/or artwork by local artisans and musicians.

Rhapsody in the Vineyard: a Downtown Wine Walk, presented by the Downtown Corvallis Association, features some of Oregon's premier wineries and distillers, offering samples of their finest vintages.

Beginning at 2pm, stop by any of the glass outlets (listed here) to purchase your wristband, neck sling and packet of 10 scrip and souvenir Rhapsody in the Vineyard-logo wine glass. Safeway has generously provided totes to assist with transporting your bottle purchases. Bring government-issued ID for proof of age (mandatory-OLCC). You may only purchase a wristband for yourself.

  • Entry fee ($5) includes Rhapsody in the Vineyard-logo wine glass and required wristband.
  • For hands-free wine tasting, you may also purchase a wine glass necksling for only $5 (in black, burgundy, or pink).
  • Packet of 10 scrip (optional), $15 (for your convenience, to pay for your wine samples).
  • Beverages will be available for purchase by the bottle or case.

Stay and Play

It's easy to turn an evening at Rhapsody in the Vineyard into a quick weekend getaway.

Show up a day early and see An Ideal Husband at the Majestic Theatre or take in the festivities at Block 15's Bloktoberfest. Stay an extra day for the Majestic Readers' Theater's production of the female version of The Odd Couple, or the Newport Symphony Orchestra's performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony. Get in some hiking or biking (here's three suggestions to get you started), explore our art galleries, and more.

Find your hotel, check out our restaurants, and make plans to enjoy a visit to Corvallis!
