Pumpkin Patches Around Corvallis

The leaves are changing color and sweeping our streets and yards, and there's a little nip in the air that wasn't there before - it must be fall! And if it's fall, then that must mean it's time to round up the family and head out to the local pumpkin patch to find the perfect Halloween pumpkin. It's time for hayrides and corn mazes, donuts and cider, and all the harvest fun that October promises.

Corvallis and Benton County are full of farms and farm stands, many of which host pumpkin patches or offer pumpkins, gourds and squashes this time of year. Here's a few must-see stops to check out!

1. Davis Family Farm Hayrides and Pumpkin Patch

Visit Davis Family Farm to enjoy hay rides to their pumpkin patch! Enjoy the scenic view of Mary's Peak and scout out the perfect pumpkin, solve the corn maze, climb the hay pyramid, and take part in kids' activities. You can buy pumpkins, gourds, mini-pumpkins, and fall veggies and apples while visiting, and of course, grab a bag of homemade donuts and fresh pressed apple cider.

The farm stand is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through October, with public hayrides starting at 2 p.m. on weekdays, and starting at 9 a.m. on the weekends. The last hayride of the day departs around 5:30 p.m.
