Imagine yourself under the open sky, exchanging relaxed laughter, tales, and unforgettable dining moments right in Corvallis’ center. Come to the “heart of the valley” to enjoy the outdoors, including dining al fresco at one of the many restaurants, bars, or cafes! Any time of the year you can find places that offer a variety of outdoor seating, and you’ll often find locals in their wet weather apparel enjoying a brew or a cuppa or in light summer gear sipping a glass of wine and farm-to-table delights. The city has extended an outdoor seating program that started during the pandemic, allowing restaurants to offer expanded seating (ADA accessible) in their adjacent street parking spots.
Another perk of this pet-friendly town? Many places are great for those with dogs, like Common Fields at their food pod and tap house or even the occasional Yappy Hour held at different places by Animal Crackers, a local pet supply store. Insider tip: Check with the restaurant’s outdoor rules, as you may need to bring a human friend, too, so one of you can watch the puppers while the other goes inside to order.
Whether you want views of the Riverfront Commemorative Park or Marys Peak, an overview of the town from a rooftop, or watch the world go by as you sip or dine al fresco, Corvallis has something for you!
