At the Corvallis Arts Center...

Visit the Arts Center in October to see a beautiful retrospective of the 55-year career of local artist Susan Johnson. Also happening in October is "Six Women Printing," showcasing the art and reproduction printing techniques of six artists hailing from Corvallis, Portland, and Eugene.

The Arts Center is currently open Thursday through Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free (donations are gratefully accepted). Masks and physical distancing are both required to visit. For more information, call the Arts Center at 541-754-1551.

1. Home Sweet Home: A Holiday Exhibition

Open Dec. 4, 2020 - Jan. 2, 2021

“Home Sweet Home” includes more than 60 artworks from 35 local artists on the theme of Home and examines how feelings about home may have changed over this last year between Covid-19, major fires, racial justice and political protests, and financial instability. The exhibit offers an mix of creative expression and media. Learn more.

2. How Do We Heal?

Open Dec. 4-26, 2020

Recent OSU art graduate Amy Gibson curates "How Do We Heal?," a show that considers our political divide and the COVID-19 circumstances of separation and illness. The choice of "How Do We Heal?" is a natural progression of her particular type of engagement with people and creative expression. Learn more.
