5 Upcoming Corvallis Events You Don't Want To Miss

Hunting for things to do in Corvallis and around Benton County? Here's a quick list of five upcoming Corvallis events that you don't want to miss, plus a handful of bonus events! Be sure to pencil these in on your calendar.

1. Graand Kinetic Challenge

See teams compete against each other in a road race, water race, and mud bog using hand-built kinetic sculptures as vehicles.

The Graand Kinetic Challenge happens July 17, 2021, at the Benton County Event Center and Fairgrounds and July 18, 2021, at the Crystal Lake Boat Launch.

2. Philomath Uncorked

Visit lovely downtown Philomath for their annual wine walk, Philomath Uncorked. Downtown businesses will open their doors to act as tasting rooms for local Oregon wineries.

Philomath Uncorked happens July 31 in downtown Philomath, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $15.

3. 2021 Arts Alive

Arts Alive is a community arts event dedicated to raising the visibility of working artists in the Corvallis and Benton County area and beyond. This year's Arts Alive is happening both virtually and in person, and features a tour of local businesses hosting displays about participating artists, among other events.

Arts Alive is happening August 7 through 14 around Corvallis.

4. Bard in the Quad: Comedy of Errors

Bard in the Quad returns for its 16th season with William Shakespeare’s hilarious tale of mistaken identity, Comedy of Errors.

Performances run Aug. 5-8 and Aug. 12-15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Quad on the Oregon State University Campus. Tickets are $17 for general admission, $12 for students and seniors, and $5 for OSU students and are available now for online purchases at or call the Theatre Arts Box Office at 541-737-2784.

5. 2 Towns Ciderhouse Annual Harvest Party

2 Towns Ciderhouse is pleased to present their annual Harvest Party live and in person (and also virtually), featuring excellent hard cider, live music from area musicians, and plenty of fun.

The Harvest Party happens August 21 and 22 at the 2 Towns Ciderhouse production facility on Airport Avenue. Tickets are $20-$30 and available now.

You'll also want to check out the Gothard Sisters Summer Celebration at the Whiteside Theatre and Theatre in the Barn: Love Letters at Tyee Wine Cellars, both on July 23. Both Benton County Historical Museums are hosting a Free Family Day on July 24. The Philomath Brew & Wine Fest will be happening at the Philomath Frolic & Rodeo Grounds on August 14. The Corvallis Fall Festival is coming up September 25-26. The Downtown Corvallis Wine Walk is scheduled for Aug. 25 (date subject to change, keep an eye out). And Septembeerfest is coming August 28 at Avery Park.
