3 Great Places to Enjoy Dinner on the Mid-Willamette Valley Food Trail

On the Mid-Willamette Valley Food Trail, you can discover everything that makes country life in the heart of the valley so special, including the wide variety of fresh fruits and veggies, working farms and ranches, little country stores and shops, and more. After a long day of traveling the Trail and delighting in your finds and experiences, you're sure to be hungry. The good news is that you don't even have to step off the Food Trail to find a delicious dinner.

We have several amazing restaurants listed on the Mid-Willamette Valley Food Trail and each of them will offer you something wonderful. After a busy day, it might be difficult to pick from so many, though, so here are three suggestions around Linn and Benton Counties to get you started.

Castor Corvallis features locally-sourced entrees inspired by classic French and European cuisine with deep nods to Creole and Pacific Northwest foods. You can expect cool and refreshing meals in the summer and warm, comforting dinners in colder months, showcasing both new and innovative foods and recipes passed down from parents and grandparents.

Gathering Together Farm is a working farm that grows many fruits, veggies and herbs you'll find on the plate in their cozy little dining room. Other ingredients, such as meats and cheeses, are sourced from local and regional producers. Here you'll find meals born of European peasant-style cuisine with a special Pacific Northwest flair, almost entirely made from scratch, including bread baked right in their kitchen and homemade pasta noodles.

Sybaris Bistro offers a seasonal menu, spotlighting locally-sourced produce in the months when it's the freshest and tastiest. They work with the best small farms and ranches, as well as the celebrated wineries of the Willamette Valley, to produce eclectic farm-to-table meals, made from scratch and inspired by cuisines and techniques from around the world.

Whichever you pick, you're guaranteed and amazing meal made from the very rural treasures you just spent the day exploring.
