2019 Thanksgiving Weekend Winery Open Houses

Thanksgiving Weekend is coming up fast and in the Willamette Valley, we celebrate with wine. Our area wineries will be hosting special events and tastings for the weekend, and you're invited! Wineries around Corvallis will throw open their doors for one last hurrah before the winter cellar season sets in on the weekends before and after Thanksgiving, Nov. 23 and 24, and Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

It's easy to turn this into a weekend getaway in beautiful wine country, nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley - enjoying luscious wines and taking in the breathtaking views. Finding a hotel here in Corvallis puts you centrally located to take advantage of Oregon Wine Country, as well as the temptations of our local wineries.

Thanksgiving Weekend Winery Open House Events Around Corvallis

Heart of Willamette Wineries

Airlie Winery is open Thursday through Monday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Ankeny Vineyard is open Thursday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. DeeDee Lavell with Nathan Olsen will perform Nov. 23, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Dave Wentz will perform Nov. 30, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Cardwell Hill Cellars open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. On Nov. 23, Cardwell will host a vertical tasting of their Reserve Pinot Noir from 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 for $10, as well as offering discounted pricing on those library wines. On Nov. 29 they'll offer a vertical tasting of their library wines, accompanied by live music and foods made with Cardwell Hill wines, also for $10.

Emerson Vineyards is open daily from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. They'll be hosting their annual Thanksgiving open house on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, featuring finger food and wine tastings (and free hugs from owner Tom Johns for anyone who wants one). Their 2016 Pinot Noir will be on sale for $150/case and their 2017 Viognier will be on sale for $100/case.

Harris Bridge Vineyards is open Monday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Lumos Wine Company is open Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Namaste Vineyards is open daily from 11 a.m to 6 p.m. at their Independence, OR tasting room and daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at their Vineyards in Dallas, OR.

Panache Cellars will be open 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. both weekends, Nov. 23 and 24, and Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

Pheasant Court Winery is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., through November.

Redgate Vineyard is open Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dead Band will perform Saturday, Nov. 30, at 6 p.m., and Sig Paulson will perform Sunday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m.

Compton Family Wines and Spindrift Cellars is open Thursday through Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. They'll host a special tasting of their red wines, sparkling wines, dessert wines, and pinot noirs on Nov. 23 and 24. There'll be a $10 tasting fee.

Springhill Cellars is open Friday through Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., through November. They'll be hosting their annual Federweisser Festival on Nov. 29, featuring Shatterproof.

Sweet Earth Vineyards will be open will be open 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. both weekends, Nov. 23 and 24, and Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

Treos Wines will be open Nov. 29 and 30, and Dec. 1 and 2, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. They'll be offering a holiday wine tasting paired with cheeses. There's a $10 tasting fee, waived with a $30 purchase or a Treos wine club membership.

Monroe Hills Wineries

Bluebird Hill Cellars is open Fridays, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (through November), and Saturdays and Sundays, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. They'll be open Nov. 23 and 24, offering holiday three-packs for 10% off and case specials on their 2018 Pinot Gris, 2018 Chardonnay and 2017 Pinot Noir. Nov. 29 through Dec. 1 they'll be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering barrel tastings of their 2018 vintage with a $10 tasting fee, refunded with a $25 purchase.

TeBri Vineyards and Lavender will be open for tastings from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 23 and 24, and Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

Independent Wineries

Benton-Lane Winery is open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Join them on the weekends before and after Thanksgiving for an intimate seated tasting in their romantic holiday barrel rooms, with holiday music and charcuterie and cheese plates available for your enjoyment, as well as a special smoked salmon plate. Along with their regular tasting flight, each day they'll offer a sample of a special library wine. There's a $10 tasting fee, refundable with a $25 purchase.

Tyee Wine Cellars is open Fridays, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
