Chintimini Chamber Music Festival

The Chintimini Chamber Music Festival, founded in 2001, is built around performers who grew up in Willamette Valley and are now pursuing concert careers in classical music. There are at least 26 such artists living in the US and Europe, playing in symphonies, operas, chamber orchestras, and touring ensembles, and auditioning for new opportunities.

Children's Concert Schedule

This year's children's concert brings to life an exciting African folk tale about a boy surprised by his own courage. Experience Tunji and the Giant set to lively music by David Mullikin, composer of The Emperor and the Nightingale and Paul Bunyan: A Tall Tale with Music.

The cast for these shows features Abby Raymond, clarinet; Erik Peterson, violin; Joël Belgique, viola; Anne Ridlington, cello; Bob Brudvig, percussion; and actor/storyteller Joseph Battrick. Learn more.

Other Festival Events

  • Chintimini Chamber Music Festival Preview - On June 16th from 9:30am to 12:30pm, performers from the Chintimini Chamber Music Festival will perform a free preview at the Corvallis Farmers Market, located at First Street, between Jackson Avenue and Monroe Avenue, in downtown Corvallis.
  • Chintimini Chamber Music Festival Music & Wine - On June 23rd you can enjoy music and wine when renowned Chintimini musicians perform at beautiful Emerson Vineyards. Sample five pairings of fine wines with elegant chamber music. The doors open at 6pm and the music and wine tasting begins at 7pm. Admission is $10. Learn more.
