Avery Park and Natural Area

Avery Park and Natural Area is one of Corvallis' most popular parks. It features natural areas, sports fields, and five picnic shelters. Any of these shelters, the Thompson, Fire Side, Townsend, Maple Grove and Lions picnic shelters may be reserved for private events and parties. There are several playground structures scattered throughout the park and a one-mile walking/jogging trail winds through the park and along the Marys River riparian area.

Within Avery Park lies one of Corvallis's most popular flower beds, the Avery Park Rose Garden. From May to October the garden is blooming with roses, with full bloom in June. Explore the rose garden in Avery Park using the City of Corvallis' web app, available here.
