Italian Inspiration pays homage to the country that birthed the modern violin and so much wonderful music in the Delgani String Quartet's repertoire. Delgani is joined by violists Kenji Bunch and Adam LaMotte and cellist Diane Chaplin for Tchaikovsky’s magnificent Souvenir de Florence, inspired in part by the composer’s travels. The first half of the program features Italian music spanning over 300 years, including works of Barbara Strozzi, Luigi Boccherini, and Gian Francesco Malipiero.
