Yuji Hiratsuka: An OSU Retrospective

Yuji Hiratsuka was born in Osaka, Japan. He has a B.S. in Art Education from Tokyo Gakugei University, and degrees in printmaking from New Mexico State University (MA) and Indiana University (MFA). He is a Distinguished Professor of Art at Oregon State University, where he has taught printmaking for 29 years. In addition, Yuji has been instrumental in the creation and support of the Norma Seibert Printmaking Scholarship program and also the JumpstART program for area high school students. A respected and beloved professor and mentor, Yuji will retire in December 2021. Learn more.

The Memorial Union Concourse Gallery is located at 2502 SW Jefferson Way in Corvallis. It's open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free. Find parking information here.
