Ten Tiny Dances® 2021 focuses on the experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, with all the performers being from BIPOC communities. Each performer has created their own dance work, using different movement forms, spoken word, singing, or some surprises you’ll just have to attend and see for yourself!
Ten Tiny Dances® was created in Portland, Oregon in 2002 and continues to be produced by founder Mike Barber and others, with permission. Please see www.tentinydances.org for more information. Since 2018, Mishele Mennett has directed Ten Tiny Dances® Corvallis, with the goal of expanding the definition of “dance,” mentoring new movement artists and challenging established dancers, all while raising money for local charitable organizations.
Dancers must create a dance to fit on top of a stage that is 4’ x 4’ and 18” tall, using the limitation to find new ways of moving. Once they start their dance, they must stay on or connected to the tiny stage with some part, (i.e., a hand, a foot, or their bottom). They can leave the tiny stage briefly.

Tickets are "choose your own rate," from $10, $15, or $20. A link to view the show will be sent to you when you purchase tickets. The show will be available beginning Jan. 23, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., through Feb. 6, 2021, at 11:30 p.m. Buy tickets.
