A hotel setting with style

Your attendees will love being in the heart of Corvallis’ historic downtown district and within walking distance to most of the city’s downtown highlights when you plan your event at the centrally located Courtyard by Marriott Corvallis. It’s easy to envision a welcome cocktail hour in the hotel’s airy foyer, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in lots of light, or an evening social hour on the fourth-floor outdoor terrace, where guests can take in views of the Willamette River while networking around the fire pit under twinkling string lights. The hotel has four event rooms and is a top Corvallis event space. The largest of the rooms here can be set up theater-style to host 220 people, with three additional breakout rooms for smaller gatherings. In between sessions, your guests can step out into the fresh Oregon air with a stroll along the nearby Willamette Riverfront or even squeeze in an energizing workout in the hotel’s on-site fitness center or swimming pool.

Something historic

The Majestic Theatre is among meeting planners’ favorite Corvallis venues and offers a wonderful location for your small and medium-sized gatherings

The City of Corvallis owns and maintains this architectural gem in the heart of downtown that opened in 1913 as a Vaudeville theater. And while it still operates as a community theater, the Majestic Theatre is among meeting planners’ favorite Corvallis venues and offers a wonderful location for your small and medium-sized gatherings. Available spaces include the theater itself as well as classrooms and conference spaces within the building, with space that can be rented on an hourly or daily basis for groups of anywhere from 30 to 300 people. The location is a block from the Willamette Riverfront and within easy walking distance of downtown Corvallis hotels and restaurants. For larger groups, the event space at the Whiteside Theatre, built in 1922, can seat up to 800 people in the auditorium, with access to their digital projection system and 30-by-17-foot screen—perfect for lectures and presentations.

Other options at the 24,000-square-foot alumni center include intimate lounges with a living-room-like feel for smaller groups, standard conference rooms that can host 80 people for budget-friendly luncheons and classic boardrooms with large cherrywood tables where up to 80 people can convene. Superb for sports fanatics

And for something different and memorable, consider planning your event at a horseshoe pit or disc golf course.

Corvallis is a town that loves to get outside and be active, and hosting your event at one of the City of Corvallis Sports Fields can be an invitingly casual and extremely affordable option that delivers a true sense of place. Avery Park, Willamette Park, Pioneer Park and Chintimini Park are just a few of the recreational areas where you can find baseball, soccer, volleyball and softball fields available to rent.
