Bourbon Month: a most glorious time of the year! Block 15's love for bourbon simply cannot be contained in one weekend or a week - so every February they devote the entire month to a spectacular lineup of select bourbon offerings, barrel matured beers, and bourbon-inspired food specials. As with other events throughout the year, the annual Bourbon Month Bottle Release and Brunch is going to be a little bit different this year. But if you joined Block 15 for their Late Fall Bottle Release, the experience will feel very familiar.
Alongside the release of Super Nebula 2021, they'll be releasing two variants: Super Nebula, Breakfast with Hayden and Super Nebula, Dulce de Leche. They're also adding their yearly release of Kriek, a Spontaneous Cuvee. A truly epic lineup indeed! In addition to the bottles of barrel aged beers, there will also be two hop-forward can releases: Nugg Hugg and Billy Breathes.

Super Nebula, Breakfast with Hayden: Bourbon Barrel Matured Imperial Stout with Cocoa Nibs

Kriek, a Spontaneous Cuvee: Oud Bruin Ale Spontaneously Fermented in Bourbon Barrels with Cherries
Kriek, a Spontaneous Cuvee is created by filling bourbon barrels that once housed Super Nebula with an Oud Bruin, then spontaneously fermented in Block 15's wild cellars. Blended after conditioning for two winters on local Montmorency cherries from The Cherry Country, Kriek marries the extraordinary expression of tart, orchard fruit and a delicate barrel character. (7% ABV, $11.50 / 500mL bottle)
Nugg Hugg: India Pale Ale
A sticky squeeze of hop nugs embraces you with this aromatic, juicy IPA. Nugg Hugg draws on a heady charge of American and Australian hops to deliver aromatic waves of candied peaches, pineapple, mango, and spruce. (7% ABV, $4.00 plus deposit / 16oz can)
Billy Breathes: India Pale Ale
This double IPA is a dreamy, hazy exploration of soft grains and vibrant hops. Double dry-hopped with five different tropical and citrusy varietals, Billy Breathes floats upon softly sweet grist with generous additions of malted and flaked oats for a luscious body and silky mouthfeel. (8% ABV, $4.50 plus deposit / 16oz can)
