Corvallis has a wealth of history and historic homes. You can obtain walking tour maps from the visitor center on 553 NW Harrison Blvd or click on the following for pdfs of the tours. There are two pdfs for each tour excpept the downtown walking tour. College Hill West Historic
District Side One (pdf) Avery Helm Walking Tour
Side One (pdf) Downtown Walking Tour (one side only pdf) Narrated Historical Walking Tour of the founding of Corvallis (40 min). This tour can be enjoyed by coming to the Visitor Center at 553 NW Harrison Blvd during office hours and picking up an MP3 player with the narration and a map. There is no charge to borrow the MP3 player but credit card (swipe $20) is required as security. You can also download the map and a Gazette Times' Podcast of the tour by clicking at the top of this paragraph.
