getting there

This narrated MP3 walking tour gives narrated information regarding the founding of Corvallis. It is not a home tour but a history tour going from the founding Kalapuya people through the bawdy gold rush and stern-wheeler era into the 20th century.

The tour takes about 40 minutes and is a great way to get a little exercise while still learning about the founding of the beautiful city of Corvallis. The tour takes you right back to the Visitor Center where you started and gives directions as to where to turn and what you are looking at.

These tours can be enjoyed by coming to Corvallis Tourism’s Visitor Center at 553 NW Harrison Blvd. during office hours and by picking up an MP3 player and map. There is no charge to borrow the MP3 player but credit card(swipe $20) is required as security.

Download the narrated tour (tracks 1-11 below) to your own iPod or MP3player.
