The Corvallis Arts Center building is on the national historic registry. Originally built in 1989 as an Episcopalian church, the architectural style is known as "Carpenter Gothic."
Their mission is to nurture artistic expression and to serve the creative life of our community. Arts at the center of life.
There are nine exhibitions in a calendar year, several of which are eagerly anticipated annual events, plus Winterlight (The Arts Center's holiday gift show). See their website for the list of upcoming gallery exhibits.
The facility is also available for rental outside of our normal office/gallery hours.

Benton County Courthouse

Benton County Courthouse was completed in 1888. This four-story building is the oldest Oregon courthouse still used for its original purpose. Topped by a clock tower housing both a bell and a carillon, the courthouse is visible for miles.

Built in 1867, the Benton County Historical Museum was once Philomath College and now has historic displays on Benton County, including Camp Adair. There is also a gallery of contemporary art. See their site for current exhibits.
Charles Gaylord House

This Gothic cottage was built for Charles Gaylord, owner of the first sash and door factory in this region. Established in 1857, the house may be the oldest existing house in Corvallis.
