MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION!!! ‘Art in the Garden’
Our free annual Mother’s Day Celebration has become our biggest event of the year. Each year Mother’s Day is a special event at The Thyme Garden. This year will be our 16th year to carry on the tradition. Once again we will have regional fine art outdoors for you to enjoy as well as purchase. Over 30 artists will be here with their artwork giving demonstrations. As usual we will be sharing free samplings of our May Wine, a traditonal springtime drink in Europe made with sweet woodruff, as well as free herbal treats, including herb spreads and herb cookies. The grilles will be fired up and Chef Jerry 'The Griller Miller' will be preparing our awesome Rosemary Flavored Burgers Stuffed with Feta Cheese. We will also have great tasting side dishes for sale, all prepared with herbs. Local wine will be available both days by Tyee Wine Cellars along with great live music. Once again festival goers can have fun creating their own Herbal Hanging Basket for mom. Choose three herbs from our nursery as well as three flowers to build your basket for only $12.95. Don’t miss this day to have fun and take advantage of our huge selection of organically grown herbs and useful plants and see what’s new for the season. This years artist include....
