Bicycling: Corvallis and Benton county have more than 60 miles of bike paths along the Willamette River, through parks and within the city. Corvallis loves bicycling and the city has been granted the designation of a "Bike Friendly City" by Bike USA and is ranked ninth in the nation with the highest proportion of people who ride a bike to work. Corvallis has one of the best bicycling systems in the nation, combining well maintained bicycle lanes, multi-use bicycle paths, shoulder bikeways, bike and pedestrian only paths, trails and great country-rides.
