The Whiteside is hosting a benefit concert to fundraise and bring awareness to the crisis of Missing & Murdered Indigenous People and the MMIP movement. Performers will include an opening act featuring Kunu Bearchum, of the Northern Cheyenne and Ho-Chunk Nations, a recording artist based in Oregon; and the headliner, Mato Wayuhi, Oglala Lakota artist and musician originally from South Dakota.
All proceeds will go to organizations supporting Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP)/ Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S).
